Aaron Matthews is Mike Cook's self-proclaimed best friend at the Reno, NV high school they both attended as sophomores in Fall 2001.[1]
He's a total comic books geek, so it's not surprising he's the first person to suspect Mike is a mutant. He's also the only fan of Mike's comic book. After Mike's dad sold him out, Aaron's the person who gave him a place to stay for a while. Incidentally, he wears silk boxers, and has a crush on Jenny Piller from school.[1]
