Animan (pl: Animen) refers to a member of the genetically engineered, anthropomorphic race of human/animal hybrids. The race was created by Dr. DNA and is 'native' to Paradise Island. The known breeds of the race are:
Wolves[]
By far the most populous of the island, wolves have a greyish fur, wolf faces and digigrade legs. Breeds include arctic, timber, grey and red wolves. Although technically a separate 'family' Foxes are also present and usually considered part of the 'wolf' population.
Cats[]
There are plenty of hunting cats on the island as well, while African Lions are the most populous, there are plenty of tigers, puma, cheetah and even panthers. Their legs are also digigrade.
Bears[]
While something of a minority on the island, bears, both black and brown, are represented and seem to be the first of the Animen not to use the digigrade leg configuration.
Otters[]
The smallest, in stature, of the Animen are the Otters, with light, lithe builds, short, sleek fur and a love of the water.
Horses[]
The horses of the Island rival the bears in size and show a similar collection of 'breeds' as most of the Animen, from small, fast Arabians up to big, heavy draft breeds.
