The Pond family has been in bed with the Goodkinds and Humanity First! for decades, and Arthur is no exception. Arthur is the CEO of Pond Industries. They are both used to getting what they want and always demanded nothing less than perfection from their daughter, Lily. After she manifested and ran away they claimed that she was killed by mutant terrorists during a botched kidnapping and Lily is currently trying to re-assert her legal identity and make them suffer for the way they treated her through her childhood.
