Everywoman, a.k.a Eve DuMont, is the partial genetic template for Sanguine. They treat it as a sisterly relationship.[1]
History[]
As she relates how she discovered she had mutated into a shifter:
- I woke up one day, and stumbled down to breakfast, and had my mother scream and threaten to call the police. I didn’t realize it on my own, but I had shifted into a Korean girl overnight.[1]
And her life after high-school is summarized in the "Several years prior…" section of Sanguine's origin story.[1]

She can assume any female form, but for the one she was born with, we have a few hints.
When she arrived on the NYU campus twenty-five years before Sanguine's origin story, she was a "shy, unattractive girl" that needed glasses, with breasts that were under a DD cup. Presumably also "short", given that another girl was mentioned as "tall".[1]
Story parallelism implies that she was a brunette with brown eyes, with a "somewhat under-developed figure", being the second form we see her in and the first seeming to reference the first girl she met on campus, a "tall buxom blonde" / "tall shapely girl".[1]
Powers[]
Can shift into any female form, but can only shift when fully healed first.
Regenerator enough for her blood to be a biohazard.
"She couldn’t duplicate inhuman abnormalities, there were some baseline tricks she could use" such as "long nails simulating claws".
- no matter the form she took, she had at best slightly better strength than a regular person of the same height and physical condition
- once she hit about six foot six, her strength stopped increasing relative to her size. If anything it actually started to diminish the taller she got as her body couldn’t handle the increased stress on her joints and connective tissues caused by her increased size.
Her non-shifter powers / or possibly regular human abilities bolstered by being a regenerator, are "hearing [that] was nearly as good as that of an exemplar".
