Headrush (Alicia Thacker) is a student at Whateley Academy. Her family is from Louisiana, and has made considerable money ("a couple hundreds of millions") from oil and gas in their bayou land.[1] She speaks with a heavy Cajun accent in both English and French.
She initially resided in Dickinson Cottage, where she was friendly with Aquerna.[2]
In the beginning of the Spring term, 2007, she was transferred to Melville Cottage, where she shares a room with Charge.[3]. That was also the time when she started being seen with the Underdogs, so she was probably not an official member of the group before that.
On the following month, when visiting a museum in New York City with her family, she was kidnapped by a supervillain known as the Hexagon and became acquainted with the mutant art thief known as the Imp.[4]
With Adalie and Kayda, she spends time at her home in Louisiana, a couple of eventful weeks in South Dakota at Kayda's home, and a couple of weeks with the girls and Ayla and Jade in France, where she misses "Jade's Night at the Museum".[5]
Powers[]
She has a short-range (about 10 feet) ability to lower fluid pressures. She mostly uses it to make people feel faint or pass out.[3]
