Inaba is the female sapient rabbit spirit of the Avatar of the same codename, Inaba.[1]

Physical Description[]

As of August 16 2007, Inaba appears in her host's dream space as "small white rabbit", no bigger than a foot in length".[1]

She's been weakened by all the effort to keep her host alive and well, but she's safe and interacting with her host has her on the mend. But we don't know if she's grown any bigger. Likely she has, but we don't know.[1]

Stories[]

Main Character[]

History[]

She's one of the spirits that has multiple names. Some of hers are Yutu and Inaba, "both of whom are known for pounding rice and herbs to make elixirs"[2]

After giving her other names, she just sticks with Inaba, and her host uses that as her codename as well.[1]

Out of all her known names, the one that was discussed the most, although still briefly, was Inlé, "a lapine Moon god that embodies death", due to meeting her host when near death.[2][1] (This of course is a joke, pertaining to the character in the Richard Adams Watership Down books that fills that role- Rose)

Powers[]

Currently weakened due to improving the health of her host.[1] And so spends most of her time "sleeping in Rose's hallow, resting and recovering her strength."[2]

She can grant her host some "spiritual powers", if she recovers enough.[2]

When she was at full power, she had enough healing power to "cure Rose Lindevall of her N-stage cancer", however, this wasn't a constantly available ability, and instead sacrificed a very large portion of her power to make that happen. Along with suppressing Rose's mutation such that they both survived the healing. Doing all that "left the spirit severely depleted of spiritual life energy".[2]

Her name of "Inlé" is also known in longer form as "The Black Rabbit of Inlé", with official art further implying that she has an alternate "black rabbit" form.[2]
