Knockoff

Knockoff is far cuter in his new body. By Rose Bunny, using Artflow.AI.

Martina Hughes, codename Knockoff, was formerly Marty Hughes. He was the son and only child of the villain Setup and an unknown baseline father. During a hiking trip, he was injured and lost a lot of blood; no blood for his type (O negative) was available at the rural clinic, and his mother donated blood for him. Because Setup is a regenerator-5, he healed into a clone of her. The regen cloning apparently triggered his own mutant manifestation, which explains why the new girl has different powers from her mother.[1]

Before coming to Whateley, Setup arranged for Wildhammer to give Martina some lessons in both using her powers, and in behaving like a woman.

She's starting at Whateley in fall of 2007. On her mother's advice, she did not reveal her transgender status or sexual orientation on her application form. However, despite this, the school administration placed her in Poe, and the other Poe changelings are aware of how she changed[2][3]. The administration were probably tipped off by Wildhammer.

According to Gen 2 stories, Knockoff was one of the inventors of the flying obstacle-course races, when she "was challenged by another student to a race".[4]

She was seen with Setup by Broadsword and his brother, Mark Kelly, on 2007-10-27, Parent's Day.[5]
