The Family is a Chicago area magical organized crime family headed by the White Lady and her family. Everything in this page is from Written in Blood[1] There may also be references in Ink in her Veins[2]
There are a number of divisions.
Hands[]
The Hands are baseline mages trained by the White Lady. There were originally six, but two of them, Evelyn St. Claire and Clarise, were killed by the Messenger.
Tessa Contrare[]

Sabine[]
Sabine is one of the Hands.

Tanya[]
Tanya is one of the Hands.
Loyal[]
The Loyal are bodyguards and fighters who are considered totally loyal and implicitly trusted, to the extent that they have been enhanced with magical spells, including strength, vitality and healing enhancements.
Marcus[]

Marcus is the senior member of the Loyal, and Bianca's bodyguard. He eventually becomes her regent.
Jean[]
Jean is a member of the Loyal killed by the Messenger.
Michael[]
Michael was one of the guards at the gate for the White Lady's birthday party.(murdered)
Tony[]
Tony was one of the guards at the gate for the White Lady's birthday party. Badly injured, but recovers.
Larry[]
Larry is a member of the Loyal killed by the Messenger. He has a son, Shawn, who is mentioned.
Shawn[]
Shawn is Tony's son, just graduated from college and headed for medical school.
Dominic Cantrell[]
Dominic Cantrell is a member of the Loyal.
