The Nightwolves are a mystic vigilante group that hunts monsters. They're serious about this, they use blessed silver-jacketed rounds with special alchemical propellants.
- The Anti-Paladin found himself surrounded by figures in dark body armor with a stylized gray wolf’s head on a crescent moon logo. The Nightwolves had arrived.
- There were six of them. Three of them pointed assault rifles at him. One had a large silver crucifix out and began muttering something loudly. Another had a katana out. And the last one had a wolf’s head and was growling. One of the men with an assault rifle shouted, “FREEZE!” in the approved SWAT style.[1]
Rev. Englund calls them in to help protect The Angel of Hell's Kitchen from the Anti-Paladin. Although by the time they arrive things appear to be under control, thanks in part to El Penitente.[1]
They kept watch for further trouble, and found it when Father John Carmody was first kidnapped. Working with the Soldiers of Justice and the Silver Blades they made short work of this. And after that, they had to deal with the MCO goon squad, with assistance from the Silver Blades.
While Ymir revels in defeating Mega-Girl, they aid the Magus and the Order of St. George in attacking the lobby of the Grand Hall of Sinister Wisdom's New York Chapter House.[2]
