After a "slip and trip" accident at breakfast, Benjamin finally gets to Hawthorne Cottage, mostly in one piece or so, to serve his assigned detention. Someone really, really doesn't like unicorns, whether they eat virgins or not. Some of the entities in the Hawthorne sub-basement bathrooms may now qualify for the "Needs Counseling Because They've Met Belfry" Club.

  • Imp is running her Saturday morning "Living and Working with GSD" seminar. Benjamin makes an example of himself as a mutant with GSD who is still a) an emancipated minor, and b) gainfully employed as a security contractor.

    • Lab D (The Gauntlet): A "live fire" obstacle course with turrets and lasers. Can you say "Daleks"?
    • Lab E: Bella Horton confirms Benjamin has zero magical aptitude (Null result).
    • Advanced Materials Lab: Dr. Aranis and Mrs. Metal put Belfry through his paces without blowing up the school.
