Phoenix Spiritus started as a fan fiction author, co-authoring the first of the new Fan Fiction-Canon Cabal collaborations. After posting some microscenes of Lancer's reactions to the lack of investigation of Heyoka's death, Phoenix Spiritus accepted an invitation to collaborate with ElrodW on To Sleep, Perchance to Dream.
On April 16, 2016, Phoenix Spiritus was officially elevated to full Canon author, and officially acknowledged as Lancer's main author.[1]
