Raptor, a.k.a Annalea Downs, is an Avatar of Whateley Academy's Class of 2011.[1]
Physical Description[]
Before her mutation, on February 14, 2007:
- She saw that fat girl with the stomach rolls and the saggy flabby arms and greasy, pimply face. She was obese, with saggy fat boobs, a fat ass, and no waist.
After her mutation coma, on February 20, 2007, she "had lost nearly sixty pounds":
- Her back was covered in brown and golden-brown feathers, all along her spine, and covering her shoulders, her eyes were a bright golden color, standing out much more noticeably than the dark brown they had once been.[1]
Taller than "five foot five", and more specifically, Pin Cushion "was maybe an inch or so shorter than Raptor".[1]. 5 foot 7 inches, and 90Lbs.[2].

History[]
Born to Marjorie and Winchester Downs as a result of teenage pregnancy. Possibly due to a deliberate pregnancy in a manipulation attempt by her father.[1]
Her grandparents died when she was "very young" and she didn't go to the funeral as a choice of her father.“I miss Grandma and Grandpa, I don’t remember a lot, but I know they loved me. And I remember Christmas and the hayrides and Halloween and the good times.”[1]
Musing on her interactions with her family, the night of her mutation:
- Aunt Sylvie had told her many stories about how beautiful her mother had been when she was Annalea’s age, and how the dashing young football star had wooed the head cheerleader. But that was long ago, and they had let themselves go. Worse, they had inflicted their apathy and neglect on her. She looked at her parents and sighed as they tore into the bucket of KFC chicken before them. Oh, she ate, but no longer did she feel the need to indulge to excess.[1]
She had asthma and diabetes before her mutation.[1]
