Shisa (Jeanette Shepard[1]), is a 2016 Whateley student, who is a "Broken PDP"[2], suffering from severe GSD, in Whitman Cottage. She apparently lives at the school year round[3], apparently due to a plea deal[2]. She is 16 years old, and manifested in 2014 at the age of 14. She spent several months in Seattle wandering the streets helping people, until she joined a group of homeless adults and teens[4].

History[]
Shisa was the youth president of the Cheyenne H1! Youth Group, where she worked alongside her mother, the president of the Cheyenne branch of H1.
She wasn't happy with her position, wanting to spend more time being a teenager, and not being comfortable with the darker things she was learning about H1. At the time she manifested in 2014, she was friends with a member of Evolution Rocks, it seems largely to annoy her mother, and was looking to take a less active role in H1.
After manifesting, she tried to hide her mutation, while her Evolution Rocks friend tried to get her into a safe house. This took time, as her position as a spokesgirl for H1! had created some bad blood and distrust.
When she was outed, an H1 hit squad tried to kill her, forcing her to flee the city alone, with the intention of getting to Seattle and seeking help as a runaway. [1]
On her way to Seattle, the person she was riding with proved to be a mutant serial killer who was literally sucking the life out of her. This led to a chase through the Rocky Mountains over several day, which pushed Shisa to her limits, drastically altering her appearance from severe injuries and near constant use of regeneration.[5]
In July of 2015, she finally reached Seattle, after gaining her final cat-like appearance.[5]
In Seattle she wandered the street helping people, mostly younger people and homeless. She grew increasingly violent, killing four people, three of whom were going to set an old man on fire, and a serial killer. She gained a reputation as 'The Magic Cat' among homeless children.[4]
In 'Parent's Day Panic', Shisa frequently thought about and talked with a friend about things in Seattle, sleeping in dumpsters, eating rats, dumpster diving, and the last time she saw her friends.
Letting her friend eat in peace, Shisa simply watched. She had honestly thought she'd never see any of her friends again. The last day she'd seen any of them had been terrifying, painful, and bloody. Honestly it had been the third worst time in her life -- and considering her life, that was a pretty impressive feat.
From the talk it seems she is only at Whateley due to a plea deal.[2]
Physical Description[]
She looks like a large house cat, with long grey fur and green eyes. The only way to distinguish her from a real cat is her human like front paws. This is something she uses to her advantage when Tanya first meets her, pretending to be a cat rather than a student to get her head scratched.[3]
She has a service harness type outfit, that she doesn't like to wear, complaining that it's confining. So it seems she mostly goes around naked or at least prefers to do so when given a choice.[3][2]
Her cat like appearance apparently makes it difficult for her to speak, the few times she does talk has her speaking slowly, using short simple sentences, while longer words are broken up. She is later able to overcome this thanks to a gadget that alters her voice box. She doesn't like wearing it because it pinches.[2]
Before manifesting, she was a tall, physically fit, fourteen year old girl, with light brown hair that was long and curly, and dark brown eyes. She wore fashionable clothes, and always had a self defence ring that was fashionable and could let out a stream of pepper spray when triggered.[1]
Personality[]
A stubborn girl who won't back down or give up easily. She regularly talks to god, usually cursing him and letting him know that she isn't dead yet.[1][5]
She was good at making speeches and writing, gaining praise as a youth speaker for H1.[1] Now she doesn't say much, after two years of not being able to talk clearly.[2]
She enjoys tricking people into thinking she's a cat. [3][6] She will also comfort people, allowing them to pet her and 'cry on her shoulder'.[3]
She has anger issues, and for a time saw herself as a monster, which led to her killing several people who were going to murder innocent people, and nearly killed a pimp who was going to hurt a teen prostitute trying to go home. She started to overcome it when she joined a group of friends.
Despite the rain, for the first time in a long time, she didn't feel angry. She wasn't really happy, but she could breathe more easily, and the noises of the city didn't make her want to hiss.[4]
She is not happy being at Whateley, but she seems hopeful that things will get better once her friend Pastel arrives on Parents Day.
For the first time in months, Shisa felt like she had a real reason to wake up in the morning, other than out of sheer spite and hardheadedness.[2]
Powers[]
Apparently she is a 'broken PDP'. What this exactly means is unclear.[2]
She appears to have some telekinetic powers, as well as regeneration, but at first they were inconsistent, working only for brief moments of extreme emotion.[1] It appears that with practice some powers become easier to use. She is able to activate her regeneration without any trouble after using it for several days, and several other powers such as increasing her strength, and a shield.[5]
She has a TK slash that can bisect a human. She can also use a TK shove that can break a car seat, toss an adult male dozens of feet into the air, or slam a person into a wall or road hard enough to shatter bones.[4]
She can see ghosts and invisible things as well, whether this includes spirits is unknown.[5][7]
She is able to create a mental block to prevent mind reading. She can also increase her strength and speed by flipping a mental switch.[2]
Her appearance is due to her Bit.[8]
Canon Appearances[]
August 5th, 2014, her origin story starting in Cheyenne, Wyoming. [1]
On September 06, 2016, she is the first Whitman girl to be met by Tanya. This is where Shisa says she doesn't like wearing the school supplied harness and acts very catlike, meowing to get attention and to get scratched on the head. Tanya is told by a wing advisor, Sequoia, that Shisa lives at Whateley full time.[3]
On September 07, 2016, she and Riley Spencer meet when the latter is being given her cottage tour by Firefly.[9]
On September 08, 2016, Shisa appears briefly when Laura and Tanya are going to the BBQ held by their student counselor Mr. Barton. She is mistaken for a cat by Laura and the non-Whitman students, which seems to amuse her. [6]
On September 22, 2016, She also has an interaction with Caro, where she guilts her into promising to look into curing her GSD.[8]
On November 12, 2016, Parent's Day, she guides her friends Pastel and Magic Mike, around campus, interacting with several students.[2]
