Silverback (real name not known) is a criminal local to Duluth, Minnesota. Looking much like an 8 foot tall lowland gorilla and said to be a rager, he is known to be triggered by gorilla jokes (Grodd, Magilla Gorilla, etc.) However, that may be more a function of Diedrick's Syndrome.[1].
Believed killed September 22, 2007, when the Duluth police department, Duluth Superiors and the USDEA raided his warehouse. No body recovered.

His only known invention is an unnamed street narcotic that has been linked to the deaths of several (potential) exemplars, by being one of the few drugs that can interfere with the expression of a BIT.[1]
It's unknown which of these effects are directly from the drug instead of just a BIT's effects / changes going wrong from the drug, but it might also trigger the Meta-gene Complex to activate as well as affect BIT-s.

It has been responsible for those 3 deaths above, along with more than nine others that were just as gristly. "Over a dozen cases, each with another particularly grizzly method of death."
The only known survivor as of 2007-09-22, is Lamprey. The drug halted Lamprey's transition from female to male at a point where she still looked fundamentally female, although her breast size shrunk by at least a couple cup sizes, her butt flattened considerably, and her hourglass figure diminished considerably.[1]
