Sphere (Dana Evalynn Martin),[1] born David Michaels[2] is a student enrolled in Whateley Academy's Class of 2011, sharing a room first with Jinx and then with Absinthe in Poe Cottage, Fall 2007.
She hates mornings,[3] loves coffee,[4] and singing has been judged to be absent among her powers.[5]
She first met her adopted sister Jackie while she was ill from manifestation effects and Jackie herself was robbing a bank.[2]
Dana's work-study job is food prep in the Crystal Hall Cafeteria.[6]

Dana is a tall and statuesque redhead, practically identical to Jackie when she was that age.
Powers[]
Sphere is a Power Mimic level five, Limited. This limitation means that she is effectively a power mimic two for all powers but Pinball's, with one exception. Mimicking requires her to touch the donor and lasts fifteen minutes. As part of her Power Mimic abilities she can sense mutants at a range of less than 15 yards (13.72m).[1]
Due to permanently duplicating Pinball's powers, she is also an Exemplar-4, able to lift 1200 lbs, a Regen-3 and Energizer-3, focused on kinetic energy.[1]
Sphere also possessed her own Energizer trait. It was subsumed by the permanent imprint, but still allows her to mimic that power set a bit more effectively.
