Steve Rossiter (no code name known) does the introductory tour for the gay boys.[1][2][3][4] As of the 2007-2008 school year, he is one of the Poe wing advisors.
General description[]
Steve's original form, that he almost never wears, is apparently an honest but rather forgettable face with mousy brown hair.[5] He usually presents as an extremely good looking blond young man, "looking like he could play the lead role in a Captain America film."
Steve is unabashedly gay, and self-describes as a flaming bottom. His father left the family after Steve came out -- apparently he couldn't handle his son being both a mutant and queer. Steve used to be very flamboyant, but over the 2006-2007 school year, he toned down his mannerisms on emphatic advice from Mrs. Horton. As she put it, "there was a difference from being out and proud as opposed to being a walking stereotype."[5]
Powers[]
Steve is a Shifter-4. He can change forms almost instantly, but is only able to take mammalian biped or quadruped forms, and can't change his own mass. Other than those limitations he can pretty much appear as anybody.[5]
Steve claims he suffers from Chaney Syndrome, meaning that he due to the ease he assumes any form, he has problems determining his own identity. He will sometimes shift forms when he is not thinking of it, such as taking the form of the protagonist of a video game he's playing.[5]
Stories[]
It is likely, but unconfirmed, that he is the same 'Stevie' who is involved with Vamp as of March 2007[6].
In All Hallows Ball, he discusses his shifter abilities with Peacock, disclosing that he doesn't really have a base form. They decide to play video games instead of go to the Ball.[5]
