Form 3867B, Religious or Other Exemption Request is a standard waiver to exempt a student from combat training and/or Combat Finals based on religious beliefs or other fundamental beliefs or medical reasons. It must be signed by a legal parent or guardian, and must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of combat finals.[1]
Charge sought a 3867B exemption to avoid taking combat-related martial arts PE classes, but Mrs. Carson had already discussed the need for self-defense training with Charge's father, and her request was turned down, resulting in Charge having to take martial arts.
